How to Walk and Work in the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. Part II

How To Walk And Work in the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. Part II

We will pick up form were we left off in Part I of How to Walk and Work in the Gifts of the Holy Spirit Part I.

We were just touching on the levels of anointing and I hope we can get some revelation as how to get these gifts and how to use them to the Glory of God. I ask that the Holy Spirit be with us as we go along this excellent journey. Amen. Glory to God.

1Co 12:4 But there are distinctions of gifts, but the same Spirit;
1Co 12:5 and there are distinctions of services, and the same Lord;
1Co 12:6 and there are distinctions of operations, but the same God who operates all things in all.
1Co 12:7 But to each the manifestation of the Spirit is given for profit.

Eph 4:10 He that descended is the same who has also ascended up above all the heavens, that he might fill all things;
Eph 4:11 and *he* has given some apostles, and some prophets, and some evangelists, and some shepherds and teachers,
Eph 4:12 for the perfecting of the saints; with a view to the work of the ministry, with a view to the edifying of the body of Christ;

We are given levels of anointing so that the works of that anointing can be used for the purpose it is given to us. Can we ask for these Gifts?

How Do We Get These Gifts?

Mat 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given to you. Seek, and ye shall find. Knock, and it shall be opened to you.
Mat 7:8 For every one that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened.

1Ti 4:14 Make use of that grace in you, which was given to you by the word of the prophets, when the rulers of the church put their hands on you.
1Ti 4:15 Have a care for these things; give yourself to them with all your heart, so that all may see how you go forward.

We can ask for these gifts through prayer and meditation, also they can be given through the laying on of hands from the elders of the church.

But with these gifts come a price, they must be used for the purpose that they were given. The Holy Spirit will direct us how and when these gifts are to be used. We must be listening to the Holy Spirit for direction and be prepared to act on that direction. God selects us to have these gifts and should be treated as gifts, treasured, savored and kept as jewels for our treasury.

"GOD SELECTED YOU"

"You Are Important To God"!!!

The Heart Of The Holy Spirit

Luk 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach glad tidings to the poor; he has sent me to preach to captives deliverance, and to the blind sight, to send forth the crushed delivered,
Luk 4:19 to preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

1Jn 3:8 He that practices sin is of the devil; for from the beginning the devil sins. To this end the Son of God has been manifested, that he might undo the works of the devil.
1Jn 3:9 Whoever has been begotten of God does not practice sin, because his seed abides in him, and he cannot sin, because he has been begotten of God.
1Jn 3:10 In this are manifest the children of God and the children of the devil. Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, and he who does not love his brother.

When Jesus came he did something for us that was so profound that it changed the way we should look at ourselves. Because he has given the Holy Spirit to us we are no longer the creature of sin that we once were. While we walked in sin and thus separated from God we were not covered by His righteousness. Because we are new creations we are cover by His righteousness and now walk not as practicers of sin but of his righteousness. We should not mistake this as our own righteousness because that would lead to our separation from God once again. It is written” Our Righteousness is but dirty rags”, the Holy Spirit and the blood of Jesus Christ has left us clean. Why would he do this for us, because He desires for us to be with Him and The Father. Amen.

Sign To Mankind God Is Real.

1Co 2:4 and my word and my preaching, not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power;
1Co 2:5 that your faith might not stand in men's wisdom, but in God's power.
Joh 14:12 Verily, verily, I say to you, He that believes on me, the works which I do shall he do also, and he shall do greater than these, because I go to the Father.
Joh 14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, this will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
Joh 14:14 If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it.

Joh 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
Joh 14:16 And I will beg the Father, and he will give you another Comforter, that he may be with you for ever,
Joh 14:17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see him nor know him; but ye know him, for he abides with you, and shall be in you.

Jesus has given to us an intercessor, a guide, a councilor, an advocate, a strengthener.

1 Corinthians 6:19 (King James Version)

19What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

We are a dwelling place for the Holy Spirit, Gods presence abides in us all regardless of our outward appearance. The Holy Spirit mindset allows us freedom of the World View of ourselves. It is that point of view that we have of ourselves that can often distract us from walking in our ordained place with God. We must view ourselves as God views us, Fearfully and Wonderfully made, Glory to God. This is how we can find out who we are, we have inside of us a tree that seeks to be nurtured and that has great fruit to be shown. This is the fruit of the Spirit, nurtured with the confidence that we can have in Christ Jesus, is powerful to change all things great and small.

2 Corinthians 6:16 (King James Version)

16And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Romans 12:1-2 (King James Version)

1I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

What is the Holy Spirit telling us here? Simply put, we are a part of the Living Gods Holy plan. He has made us Holy by abiding in us. His desire is for us to abide in Him. That all that we do we do in Him. Seeking always what is his will and not listening to the view of the world which is bent and distorted from the view that God has of us (This is the same view we must have of ourselves). We can get so much condemnation from the world, but more on that later. Just know you are a prize possession of an infinite God that holds all creation in his hand...Glory.

Matthew 12:1-11 (King James Version)

1At that time Jesus went on the Sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungered, and began to pluck the ears of corn and to eat.

2But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the Sabbath day.

3But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him;

4How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests?

5Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the Sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the Sabbath, and are blameless?

6But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple.

7But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.

8For the Son of man is Lord even of the Sabbath day.

9And when he was departed thence, he went into their synagogue:

10And, behold, there was a man which had his hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath days? that they might accuse him.

11And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the Sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out?

God wants to work as a corporate with us. We have work to do in his authority, not against his authority. In this obedience we can place Jesus into our cycle of life. Implement Gods daily and He will truly be our helper. Practice makes perfect, with daily practice God will help us move those things in our lives that are obstacles to our walk with Him and His work in us. Practice, practice, practice, and you will see the fruit grow on your spiritual tree.

That concludes part II, in part three we will touch on some of the obstacles and what to do to move those obstacles successfully.
